Yes, that is a good way to do it. When you thaw and reheat just add the BBQ sauce. I do this all the time!

These were delicious! It was my first time using a dry rub on ribs. I did just that, after slow baking them I moved them to a broiler pan, slathered on some Sweet Baby Rays sauce, put them under the broiler to caramelize the sauce.Fantastic!
