Great ideas. I’ve done it with cranberries instead of blueberries at Christmas too!

I found that it doesn’t fall apart as much if the apple is cut smaller (I use Cosmic Crisp and leave the skin on) and I pick the smallest blueberries in the bunch. I do use GF flour so I add about 2-3 Tbsp of applesauce because it is a little too crumbly without. I also add some coarse turbinado sugar to the top (1 tsp) before baking to add a nice crunch. We also tried strawberries instead of blueberries, and that was great too!

Hi – they are from Amazon. If you like the pattern it is called “hobnail”. Here’s a link to one: Hobnail Martini Glasses

Yes, that is a good way to do it. When you thaw and reheat just add the BBQ sauce. I do this all the time!

Hello…
Any idea if freezing this after the first bake with just the rub would be better than taking them all the way then freezing with the sauce already baked on…
Thinking it maybe easier…

These were delicious! It was my first time using a dry rub on ribs. I did just that, after slow baking them I moved them to a broiler pan, slathered on some Sweet Baby Rays sauce, put them under the broiler to caramelize the sauce.Fantastic!
